4-year Educational Plan for Incoming Freshman All students should earn a minimum of 5.50 credits per year to meet the 21 credits high school graduation requirement: English (4), Math (3), Science (3), Social Studies (3), Physical Education/Health (1) (Health 1 semester = .5 credit & Physical Education 2 semesters = .25 credit per semester), Elective (7) (1 credit must be a Fine or Practical Art) Students must also declare a major in one of the four core curriculum subjects to meet graduation requirements. To meet that requirement, students must earn one additional credit beyond the requirements in the core subject. If a student majors in mathematics, the student would need four (4) vs. three (3) credits in mathematics to meet high school graduation requirements. Toledo Early College High School curriculum is based on: Two (2) years of English Two (2) years of Science Two (2) years of Social Studies Three (3) years of Mathematics All other credits are earned on the college level.
