I am certified to teach Math, Economics, and Computer Programming in Ohio. I have taught secondary Math for 23 years.  I have also taught Economics at the University of Toledo, Owens Community College, and Wayne State University.

My wife and I lived in Tokyo and taught English to Japanese business people for 2 years (from 1989 to 1991). I have traveled extensively through Europe and Turkey, Latin America, and the Far East.  I have never been a CIA agent.

My immediate goal at Toledo Early College High School is to beat the best suburban schools on the state standards-based tests.  My larger goal is to help our students reach their academic and personal potential in life. We have to remember that our students are teenagers (and I have two at home).  What more needs to be said.
